UN Millennium Fellowship

Priority Deadline: Saturday, December 30, 11:59 PM (New York Time)

The UN Millennium Fellowship is calling for applications. Access to world-class training, connections, and recognition is just an application away. The program will take place on selected campuses worldwide from August to December 2024. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and eligible students will proceed to the second and final round of the application. Sign up for a virtual info session! International Leadership Foundation (ILF) Civic Fellowship (U.S. Citizens Only)

The ILF Civic Fellowship (summer fellowship) is now open. The ILF Civic Fellowship Program is a flagship program to help fellows who are U.S. citizens to learn how politics, the policy-making process, and public service are integrated into governance. CGA Lecture Series | Comparative Nationalisms: India, China, and Europe

Speaker: Professor Peter van der Veer (Max Planck Institute for the Study of Religious and Ethnic Identity)

This lecture will present a comparative approach in the study of nationalism and discuss the nature of the nation-state in the era of global connections. The perennial question of nationalism is how to decide who belongs to the nation and who does not. The event will be introduced by Professor of History and Director of the Center for Global Asia Tansen Sen.

As opposed to exhibition tours, ICA will be holding a Study Session—guided conversations based on curious exploration, critical reflection, and collective meaning making. IT Updates

Important Update: Changes to NYU Google Storage Limits

Google has announced discontinuing unlimited storage for educational institutions. New storage limits will be implemented during the week of December 22. The changes won't disrupt the daily activities of 95% of the NYU community. However, individuals near or above 20GB will temporarily be provided with extra storage and contacted during the week of December 11.

What Should I Do Now?

No immediate action is required. See these helpful clean-up tips to learn more about NYU's data retention policy. For future updates, alternative storage solutions tailored to various needs will be introduced throughout 2024.
